i’ve kinda had my own body image issues in a different way, but honestly the one thing that really helped with self acceptance was definitely modesty

My problem is my weight fluctuates a lottttttt. I like to invest in clothing pieces (i.e., not fast fashion mostly) & it’s hard having to buy sizes up one year and sizes down the next 😭😭
I like how I look with a few extra pounds- but my body doesn’t know how to stop at “a few”, both ways! LMAOOOO

The step count part is SO true. I went from working in an animal shelter getting 20k+ steps a day walking dogs to going back to uni and getting 4k steps at a push.. the weight just piled on over the years because even though my diet hasn’t changed my activity levels plummeted. Getting a smart watch has truly held me accountable! I’m also still trying to figure out my clothes size because my weight fluctuates so much.. 😭
