  1. Love Medellin but the hidden Gems in Colombia are off the beaten path of the so called passport bros. Like Santa Marta, the caldras. Colombia is a big beautiful country. A lot to see especially as a traveler

  2. Cost of living in Medellin is extremely expensive. Try to make Colombian pesos and see how you fair. It isn't a cheap place, it is a favorable exchange rate, they are not the same thing. For the 4,000,000 Colombians living en el valle de aburrá (if you need to google where that it is than it means you aren't doing a good job integrating) it is a very hard place to exist, something I wish outsiders would respect more with their word choice.

  3. The "Passport Bros" are men who have chosen to seek out foreign women, typically from other countries, for relationships. They believe that western women have been influenced by cultural and societal pressures to behave in a certain way, and that by seeking out foreign women, they can find a more authentic, fulfilling, and harmonious relationship. This is seen as a way to restore the natural balance between masculine and feminine energy, and to avoid the "wickedness" of western women.

Traveling internationally for hook ups, smash and dash, and pay to play is considered a Passport Tricking, Sexpating, Passport Pookie, or straight up being a John.

If a guy pursues a toxic woman outside the US and is still bowing to her is considered a Passport Simp.

  4. This AA guy is disgusting. He making derogatory statements about other AA. He then put a foreign culture on a pedestal. People are judgemental until they have a negative experience.

  5. “A "passport bro" is a man who travels the world to date foreign women, often in the hopes of finding a life partner.”
I don’t call myself passport bro. Just a traveler

  6. I’m not Hispanic and I know rule that any Spanish word when 2 Ls is pronounced as a Y. Why do soooo many non Spanish speakers even those who live in Columbia pronounce the LL as a G?

  7. What a lucky man! Retired at 45 and retired and living in Medellin! He paid his dues and is young enough to really enjoy retirement and his free life. I said lucky but he made his luck! 🍀👍

  8. I would not want to be labeled as a s*x tourist. It’s usually these types that harass local women, have inflated egos, and get caught with minors. I would 100% not want to be associated with that label and it’s weird to me how many men let their passport define their self-worth…
