  1. Generally speaking, Taiwan is a very safe place, ranks right up there as among the safest. But of course, criminals are everywhere. But I wonder if it’s a particular stigma, a stain of dishonor in a country that’s known for its good record? Is rehabilitation a priority? Well, this prison certainly has a certain points system to deal with the prisoners on the inside. Enjoy peeps.

  2. I feel so badly for them but this needs to be a reform for the prisoner or inmate. Alot of us take for granted in our everyday lives but im grateful for this video ty kindly.

  3. Toughest? what? I didn't see a single fight, stabbing, or even a threat. And they have food, water, and toiletries. Yeah it's strict, but it is prison. A very well run prison actually.

  4. Seems like a civilized place. Might be hard as in small cells but seem harsh but fair. Not sure why the prisoners don't get more yard time but might be a lack o space or smth.

  5. Is it just me, I don't see the prisoners here are scary or intimidating compare to the rest of the world's high security prisons. Or it is not shown in this video.

  6. This is not even close to being one of the worst prisons. But you also have to wonder the types of reasons why these prisoners end up in there. Generally speaking, drug criminals are not violent, and Taiwan in general has a low violent crime rate.

  7. This place is beautiful and definitely fits some of the criteria I wish more prisons had. Well organized. It makes more sense when prisons operate more like inpatient hospitals or schools (Singapore and other prisons, too.) Every countries culture, method and way of executing it are different, but you can tell when they're trying. I'm such a big fan of prison reform
