  2. Good morning McBean. I took voluntary departure in 2005 but couldn’t depart due to a situation in my home country. I got married in 2014 and and after my interview in 12/2017 my I-130 was approved however I was told to travel back home go and process it in my home country. My lawyer went to the court to request for re-opening of my 2005 case. The judge denied the request and referred us to the board of immigration of appeal. We sent the request to re-open to the board in 2020 and in 2022, the board wrote back and requested a brief from my lawyer which he sent to them the same year. We are still waiting for a response from them. My question is, can my new wife go ahead and file for work permit and my green card or wait until the board replies to our re-open request? And also may also know if there an expiration date on a court case since it’s been 20 years since I accepted the voluntary departure?

  3. Thank you for your insightful videos—they've been incredibly helpful.

I'm currently assisting a close friend in filing Form I-130 based on their recent marriage to a U.S. citizen last October. However, my friend is anxious about moving forward due to lingering concerns from the turmoil of the current administration, particularly the fear of potential ICE involvement.

Would you recommend filing the I-130 now or waiting a few months to mitigate any potential risks? Many people remain apprehensive, and it's disheartening to see so much fear around this process.

Your advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards,

  4. ….. actually…. None of this will occur. Because now from what I understand wait times are close to ten years. By this time most people will have changed their direction, the relationships are going to fall apart (not because they are fake) the wait times are a FAMILY AND MARRIAGE KILLER.. 🤬 in addition some people will simply have passed away … WAITING TO CONNECT TO THEIR LOVE.. 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬 This has to END NOW. these applications need to be PROCESSED. I SERIOUSLY WANT TO HAVE MEETING WITH THESE PEOPLE. In efforts to speak on behalf of many who are frustrated, severely heartbroken, Among other things there’s other issues with this. I want to speak for them. I want to speak for myself. I want to speak for my husband I want to also have a heart-to-heart and I also want to give some good ideas. Maybe I don’t know but this has stop, this is ridiculous. USCIS. There is an END TO ALL THINGS.. Your time sitting on your bum will come to an end. I heard how your offices look .. 🤬😡🤬 IRRESPONSIBLE..😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭💔

  5. I found out that my now Exhusband, was using me just to get his citizenship, and then send for his wife from their country. Once married he became EXTREMELY ABOUSIVE, i learned of him using me via phone calls & bank account information he has with his wife in their country. Once those Facts came about, there was many that followed. Absolutely a awful situation to have been in. Extremely ABOUSIVE, i divorced him. Thank you for your information. Something really needs to be done about these people, trying io trick and scam us U.S citizens.

  6. Thanks for your video and your immigration help. Question: I am a married US born citizen that is married to a Nigerian. We were married in Nigeria and I want to file the necessary forms to bring my husband and step son to the United States (they are still in Nigeria). Can you tell me the necessary forms I need to submit to start this process; I have already filled out I-130 (for my husband and my step son), I-130a. What other forms will I need to submit so that everything can be submitted correctly the first time? Please help??

  8. Hi , it’s okay to wait 2 years for filing to change status after been married to a USA citizen? To avoid the 2 years conditional green card.
    I overstay my B1/B1 visa .
