Wow im proud of my Msanzi dancing ladies representing S.À
JIVA is my favourite dancer
Y'all created something that is alien level 🔥🔥🔥
Y'all don't know how many 3 and 5 mile runs Gqom music has gotten me through. I don't understand Xhosa or Zulu so I pretend the songs are by my ancestors telling me to not give up, to keep focusing on my breath, to keep pushing, that I'm almost at the finish line and that this run is a prayer for all of our people every where who have ever existed. Heck, hearing the music in this video makes me nostalgic for a morning run right now. 16:40 is exactly how I imagine my ancestors pushing me through this music and she just said it in this video. And that if I can push this run, I can push through my hardass day where I'm a fish out of water in more ways than one, and I can push thru this hard ass career, and that I can make it to the finish line because I have the focus of generations of Africans pushing me onward. 🥰 This video is surreal. People think dance is unimportant. We take it for granted, but it's the motivation for me to walk into a freaking operating room and own the room.
South Africans with their level 1000 talent. The rest of us trying to be on you alls level.
From the 1st battle and the last battle, you ladies woke me up again to continue what I started to continue to dance even if I dance alone.
WOW, the same for me as well once my parents passed the family on both sides mom & dad disappeared didn't speak to my brother and I. We raised ourselves. We both have talents we have invested in ourselves but the right eyes and ears have not seen us YET. They said GOD's timing and we're waiting while we still put in the work in putting ourselves out there.
I always say the same " God didn't give me all this talent for it to go to waste" many nights I cry trying to figure out I have so many talents it's crazy that one person like myself to be so talented and not be discovered I get so depressed about it. I understand every single one of the casts. I lost my parents and grandma so I figured God would let me shine on my talents I'm still waiting on GOD. Please bring Season 2 quick
I'm in NYC and that is so correct about what he said about the Shakka Zulu Hip Hop Nation it came from Harlem In NY, NY now from 2017 our moment in African music and today is 2022 our moment continues and it will be for a long a while. As a Haitian woman today's moment is for Haitians and Africans we have so much we will do to inspire so many nations.
As a Haitian girl, since 7 I have been choreographing until I now but never got my chance watching these girls I live that moment. I can not wait to see Season 2. I'm in New York City please invite me

This show is so unique and so cool!!! We need season 2, Netflix!!!
Loving every "movement" of it, from Michigan, USA. It was lively, colorful, and culturally enriching. The characters were raw and unapologetically the people and personalities they set out to represent.
Looking forward to Season 2! JIVA!! 💖💖👊🏾👍🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I've never being more proud of being an african woman.Jiva is everything for any black girl
We never really get such insights into tv shows and movies so to see them like this. Raw, unfiltered. Its amazing
I love this show it's me wanting to buy a ticket and experience this culture for me🇯🇲😍

Love all the way from New Hampshire, USA. Sometimes I'll be alone in the car and start crying, "Yo, my wigs! My wiiiiiigs!"
