The problem with me was I used to get lazy even in thinking ,everything was okay until I encounter real analysis where you would have to think deeper about any concept let's say 8 step ,I used to stop at step 6,and get lazy about next 2steps.

You can afford to be lazy when solving math problems if you have a good grasp of math, because if you don't, you just stare blankly at the problem….feeling bad about yourself because you just don't understand that. By the way, a lot of students who experience burn out in college are trying to put the time to understand something, but that something you just can't understand. Of course, having a tutor would have helped a lot. Nowadays is easier that it was before with youtube videos and all of that.

ohh he's teaching fourier series.
I remember my teacher for signals and systems( An Electrical Eng. major) walking into the class and goes on to draw square wave on the board and asks what is this wave. The students replied it's square. To which he responds " Fourier claims that this wave is a summation of sine waves."
It was my favt topic by far the most mind-boggling concept we have learned in Electrical Engineering.
So this is why math makes 0 sense!!
