  1. One truth we re finding too difficult to admit is that we don’t know how to solve our problems. We don’t know how to be free and independent. If we keep lamenting of the extractions of over 200 years ago, what can we show for those that are being extracted under our leadership since we got independence? Can we account for them? In my honest opinion, the colonialists should be recalled to continue from where they stopped, we don’t know what to do with freedom and resources that we have. Simple!

  2. No reparations will be given. Nor should it be given. Those countries can increase import tariffs if they want to extract some kind of payment. Sadly, those effected counties may reply in kind. Accept you were exploited and never again. Let it go! Request stolen artefacts be returned. The international community can get behind that. Failing any positive results: offer a generous bounty; they'll be takers – not technically a crime.

  3. Typical american mentality..
Hey Joe nobody told you …there is SOMEBODY..ALIVE ..under that hat?
People with absolutely NO HISTORY… came out of the blue ..Telling people of how things should be ? If do not Know ..BEFORE ..you came about to appear..on Earth.. for THOUSANDS OF YEARS..people are being PERFECTING THE ART OF LIVING….
PAY ATTENTION AND PLEASE STOP DOING SH…THINGS …DUMPING ON SOMEBODY LIVING ROOM . FIX YOUR LAND FILL FIRST …PLEASE.

  4. What's the deal with the masks? This is all just a show—a clown show. Barbados has fewer people than a small town in Canada, yet they're still asking for handouts. The real issue in Barbados is the lack of effective leadership. Instead of addressing significant problems, they're focusing on less impactful issues like climate change and the pandemic. What can Barbados realistically do about these global issues? The answer is nothing. Not a damn thing. They should be focusing on the prosperity of the 281,995 people who live there. Did you know that 100% of their electricity is produced using imported oil? It’s 2024, the sun shines there almost every day, yet there are no incentives for people to retrofit their homes to use solar energy or to purchase electric cars. The only thing this prime minister can do is talk nonsense about reparations—which will never happen. At least get the gap between your teeth fixed.

  5. Having no knowledge of God and not having Gods govermental body running a country is useless and a pawn in the devils hand.
People that believe that they are highly intellectual cannot please God.
    Satan is their master

  6. Look at US what they support. Killing in Palestine, slaves of zionist Israeli. Bring wars in middle east, same applies to UK. These two nations are horrific in their actions.
    Stay away from them…

  7. " It's not only you that is embracing china, there are many other Caribbean nation that are doing the same"

She, this propagandist/ journalist stupidly dismissed her concocted allegation of cummunist sympathizing.

Why do we still listen to these main stream media puppets ?

  8. the two beautiful and brilliant women. One conditioned by the West's imperialism and the other sees the world from being repressed and seen as underdeveloped and to be controlled by the West but is articulate, balanced and assertive.

  9. Funny that this interview is taking place at the same time as China getting caught in a massive cyber attack on the MOD……at your own peril Barbados’s

  10. BBC ‘moral’ compass, not, the public news agency from the country that bombed China, atomised the Summer Palace, stole antiques and pushed opium onto the Chinese populace for decades.
