Thank you for the video.57 years ago(in 1964 and I was 26), as a young doctor in a young Uganda, I was invited by my first Ugandan friend/our wonderful driver Amosi to his village near Kihiihi (in Rukungiri district). I saw the whole banana juice extraction process…from what I remember, the ripe bananas were peeled, placed in what looked like a canoe, and stomped upon with feet(I saw the same process but this time with grapes in Sicily) . The banana juice was then filtered, boiled, and cooled down(I have never tasted anything sweeter, and authentic than that!). It was nice to be invited and accepted by his family. And it was nice working in Uganda before Idi Amin came to power!Great memories about the country and the genuine people that I met.

@TheLegin01

Could you give us the name of the grass that’s being used? If you have the scientific name that would be great too.

You make vedio on this woman. She is using very lesser fuel for cooking,
You make special fire place, with clay by hand …. second step make one clay pot or aluminum or iron pot fix to this clay
Third step…
You put stone below wood , when you have done, close the fire, and do arrangements as per as this woman,
You can make banana leaves mat to cover the pot. I will send the link.
Stone below will keep the heat and it will get transferred to pot.
You can save more time. Make vedio after success.

You can use citronella plants for crushing banana.
Another suggestion is
Make vegetables with banana skin. Many people cook vegetables with banana skin.

Another suggestion is.
In Africa people cook beer with banana.
You take banana skin,
You press it with motor and pessle,
You keep in water for one or two days and make beer with only banana skin.
Fruits you sundry, I am sending the link.

You can get more juice next day, put the water keep it overnight, next day boil it and drink.
The vegetables grass which you are using is not harmful.
We prepare ayurvedic decoxtion by keeping ingredients deep in water and boiling it,
So put in water and keep something heavy so it won't float above water.
Next day boil it and enjoy more juice.

@sunitadwarka347

You take banana skin, you make garland type.
Dry it on rope. The banana skin have lots of vitamins. After drying add in spices or curry of your choice.
Try it.
