  1. ship company using American maritime law to prevent paying Billions of dollars for incompetence… Again foreign countries & people using our laws against us…WTF!!!!!!!!!

  2. Well I think they should be sued and the driver of the vessel should be charged with this severe accident because it should have been fixed a long time ago before it was ever moved from where it was why didn't they fix the problem before the vessel ever started moving it is there a fault that they ran into the bridge Andy bridge collapsed so they should be held responsible and for the lives that was driving that night on the bridge in their cars for the ones that couldn't swim but they chose not to fix it and Carry on on their way to proceed in the water

  5. Y’all engineers do not build bridges to withstand huge container ship hitting a key part of bridge, you can’t blame the construction, if it survived all these years with weather conditions ,etc… it’s not the bridge. But who knows maybe the bridge was build bad idk I hope we learn from this and this doesn’t happen again. I’m scared of bridges now.

  6. I read a comment about why are there no tugs at the port of Baltimore. So I went looking at the really big ports by tonnage like Ningbo, Shanghai and Tangshan (three biggest in the world by tonnage). These top three ports in the WORLD all required the ship owner to attest to the mechanical worthiness of the vessel and a regular inspection of the vessel by port authority specialists. Probably asking questions like why does your black box not have a back up battery? Or what are your procedures to make sure switchover from harbour fuel to ocean fuel does not cause a power loss……. Not sure what US ports require.

  8. That’s A little too weird for me that vessel turn intentionally to hit the bridge that’s clearest day in my mind. Something serious is about to go on. They need to search the boat for something catastrophic.
