  1. Proud to be part of the Ateker. Akol Susan from Arusha and I have interacted with the Masai people who also share some words with the Iteso such as akolong to the Masai is egolong, itunga is endungan in Masai, akeju is engeju in Masai, amoti is emoti in Masai.
Just wondering arenโ€™t the Masai part of the Ateker? We should remember them as well in this movement.

  2. Brilliant initiativeโ€ฆ..to connect the Ateker communitiesโ€ฆ.keep going, this is the beginning of something bigger for the Ateker nationโ€ฆ..

  3. You are absolutely right when it comes to peace. Always use translators to translate in the local languages so that the natives are not left out. Local language should lead the way when it comes to cultures and tracing toots.

  4. it is a very interesting video of Ateker people !! more such projects should be done regularly. Just one thing I find offensive is calling South Sudan people (Sudanese), this kind of utterance makes one not informed about the session of Sudan. Toposa and Jie are in South Sudan, please correct that next time.

  5. Theo, this has been a wonderful documentary. I loved the fact that you even went to meet fellow Ateker from Southern Sudan. Looking forward to more documentaries. A big thank you to the whole production crew for making this great documentary.

  6. Great documentary about the Karamojong of Greater Ateker region. Really enjoyed the interactions, the story telling, the reunions with brothers and sisters across the border in S.Sudan, the breathtaking vista's as always and off course the small small hill you climbed to reach the highest point in Sudan. Thanks for sharing this journey Theo๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ’ฏ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿฟ
