Tribal conflicts are normal in the upper highlands region of PNG. Most often they do not attack innocent people from other tribes or regions.
The only frightening thing is they are using modern weapons and hire gunmen which has the potential to grow into full blown war.
When enough destruction has occurred, they will find a solution to settle this conflict. Their forefathers have done that for centuries before the arrival of the white man.
Those of us from other neighbouring provinces should help by being vigilant and report gun smuggling into the highlands region. This will help them curb that conflict..

PNG is a very corrupt country. Run by liars and thieves who value their self interest over the country's. This war was ongoing since last year. Where was Marape, Where was Manni g? Don't lie to the media just beacuse it became world news.

This country is filled with primitive animals who say it's the governments fault. Yes the government does fail to deliver but the society is filled with people who can't comply with one another. But just because I said that doesn't mean the government is innocent.
