At least 37 killed in al-Shabab beach attack in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu


The number of people killed in an attack on a crowded beach in Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu, has risen to 37, with more than 200 injured. The armed group al-Shabab has claimed responsibility.
It’s been fighting to topple the central government in Mogadishu for more than 17 years.
