  1. I was there from 1972-1974 US Army (Stratcom). I was 19 and Asmara back then looks pretty much the same from your video. My home here is Hilo, Hawaii and we have places on this island that resembles Asmara. This is especially heading to Massawa with the dry looks and climate. Thank You for sharing. Mahalo Nui Loa.

  3. I was in Asmara for three months August 1st to October 27 2023…I really enjoyed the climate and clean beautiful city and people…See you soon again Asmara next year 2024.

  4. Asmara is not built by Italians but by Eritrean people during the colonial era, read the history of Eritrea, the first mosque in the world is in Eritrea massawa mosque of al sahaba,

  6. I watched that video from Greece. I found the architecture of Asmara to be the most interesting element of the city. It's so surprising to know that there is a modernistic paradise in that part of Africa!
