  1. I agree with 99% of what's said here, but i'm disappointed this is about the manosphere and not the gender war as a whole. The manosphere is much more dangerous but not even having a section about how women perpetuate the patriarchy seems a touch too pandering. i'm kinda disappointed the shoaty was pulling punches and scared to upset liberal white women.

  2. As a hard working father, small construction business owner, husband, and productive member of the community, I would argue that a big part of the problem with men is this exact video. I break my body daily to provide for my family, cook every meal, get the kids ready for school/drop off at daycare, and volunteer my time to the community. I, and the vast majority of men I know, hold hard to not only meet the standards set by our upbringings, but also work to try righting historical wrongs. Then you make a video about men and chose to focus the entire time on the tiny minority blowhard morons on the internet that are grifting on the divide they can create. I, for one, am not ok, and a lot of that is having knee jerk hyper feminist reactionaries group me in with knee jerk anti feminist reactionaries. I do everything in my power to be everything I can be for those around me, and get to see almost offensive portrayals of “men” based on whatever the fuck that was. Shame on you “progressive”. Way to further grift the divide.

  3. Given that, I wouldn't blame entirely one side of the spectrum for the rise of 'angry men'. At least from Spain, the bureaucratic work of the 'Equity Ministry' has not only defended but also even financed an inequality. There is a grain of truth in the claims of the redpill community.

    Some of the consequences:
    * Defending child kidnappers as 'protecting mothers' even when the own child reject their mothers, making indults arbitrarily and being the kids molested when given to their mothers
    * Tampering data such as filicides, virtually making dissapear the data for the kids when attacked by different profiles than the 'cis testosteronic male' (if your mother ended your life, no public record will be available for you if you are not in the press)
    * Denouncing use of inclusive prononuns by journalist Iker Jimenez as 'mockery hate speech' when citing an Eurovision singer which identifies as such.
    * Making laws that backfired several times due to ignorance of basic law, freed dangerous assault convicts and making violent men invulnerable to certain penalties by just registering as women (no medical testing, no changing the customs or clothing, nothing), like explained by Inocente 'Vida' Duke in his channel
    * Calling names to any critic, including the 60% of judges which happen to be women as applying the laws as defined and not with 'the correct spirit'.
    * Sued and condemned for laboral exploitation of female bodyguards and workers, assault, defamation to parents as 'child molesters' when not condemned with a 18K euros fine for the exminister Irene Montero and her assesor Rodriguez Pam…
    * Financed cultural products such as monologues of Pamela Valenciano, who defended herself as a victim while explaining that he would batter her husband for a silent treatment
    * Trying to silent and condemn an association for 'Defenders of Men under Violence', under accusation of hate speech and mockery

The list goes on, and while Spain is rther a progressive country, this years the field for polarization in society and growing an antagonism to feminism has been planted for a long time.

  4. I have an old dude friend who used to be cool, than he moved to Munich (germany), his girlfriend dumped him and he is slowly but steadily going down this kinda pipeline. I strongly believe tis video and many others on this channel would greatly benefit him, buy it's hard to introduce him to this cause of the thick goooey and sticky lore behind corn cream, boars, warmbo etc. It's sure he would be weirded out and stop following. Suggestions?

  5. Honestly, I usually love the show, but I don't get how you make an episode about the very real mental health crisis among men, and then spend half the episode dunking on men for being "whiny victims". Just such a dumb take. Whatever societal structures or gender-roles people believe in and whether they support feminism, they are still capable of being vulnerable and deserving of love and support. You're honestly perpetuating the very same false dichotomy that makes this whole thing so difficult and contentious. Namely, that feminism must fundamentally be at war with men's rights, and vice versa.

  6. Nothing about how dating apps radically changed the dating market? There's a stark difference between how much the average man is valued vs how much the average woman is valued, on the dating market. This imbalance resulted in many men, average and below, being single, because while the average woman can easily get a partner, the average man can't, due to being valued less. This imbalance leads to loneliness, anger, frustration, depression, addiction, among the male population, and will probably lead to fascism in the long run.

  7. While finding out who you are and what you like is good, one of the ways patriarchy hurts men and woman is the way we end up developing interests and how gendered that is, so you go and find a group with your interests but that group is not balanced, this would make things harder. Specially so when interests is the like big thing you can bond over, like with autistic people.

Either way I havnet been in a spot to put much effort in so I don't know, I don't even really know how to find people with my interests in the real world.
I just think this is one of the realities that makes thing harder than they otherwise would.

That said really good ending, well said, that is the way.
