@dannf3736

Listen to this man 🤣🤣🤣

@Xenomorphd

That’s a misconception. Right to repair is not in opposition to a durable product.

@CanadianLoveKnot

Apple also doesn't make money when you repair your own phone. See how that works 😂

@MaheshAdhikari

Old nokia was durable and easily repairable

@nerdpolice829

Except they’ll just change the charger and it’s done.

@michaelfromMountains

Do ya selves a favour , leave ya apple phone on da bus or train 🚆……forbidden fruit was created by Satan 🐍🐍🐍

@kaceesavage

I would like an iPhone that never breaks and the battery lasts forever.

@thrackl3

Apple phones are so fragile that nobody gets to appreciate the design because the phone has to be in a case else it will break the very first time you drop it. So if Apple is trying to make the phones durable, they have failed miserably.

@Thomisshilbay

But when customer drops it breaks 😂

@JA-ur8ob

So Apple will make an indestructible and eternal phone?

Instead of making their phone repairable?

Not only is that not doable, it’s counter-productive and definitely not the case.

@aarondulmage7228

The screens shatterer when you look at them

@jschoenack

Apple telling you what to think. There is mush more money in selling a phone every 1.5-2 years. Not as much in a phone that is easily serviceable.

@Bonelesswatrmelon1

Unbreakable iPhones means the chargers gonna need to be replaced 4 times a year

@longrodvonhugendong7928

Material durability is one argument.
But why does Iphone not last more than 2 generations before a noticeably sluggish slowdown sets in?

Why bother with extensive material durability if the software and components don't last more than 3 years?

@jjjjrrr678

Apple is full of 💩. I'm a Mechanical Engineer. Those test are to make sure the phones are indeed durable but not because they care for their product or customer, but to minimize warranty and brand related reliability. The second it expires, I can guarantee you, they have engineered obsolescence into it and this is why they are all against repairability. Stop parroting their bs. Their arguments are nothing but gaslighting.

@alex_whiteman172

Actually just an L take, in no way or repairability and durability on opposite sides of the spectrum. And even if they were, and apple is leaning all the way to durability, why are they still using back glass? Why are iPhones still breaking so easily? I’ve seen a lot of phones that are way more durable and waterproof than iPhones will probably ever be, and some of them have a 9.3 rating on Ifixit. I was able to replace the touchscreen and frame in 30 min. tops, with a single screwdriver. Apple will never do anything like this, since they make so much money off of peoples phones breaking so easily.

@zacharylowe8083

There are plenty of things that are repairable and durable. It’s a great pitch for Apple to continue to rake in 100s of billions on repairs and AppleCare though!

@CanisoGaming

Ohhh no they don't bud, no they god damn don't 😂

@tonychambers1111

My iPhone 15 pro fell 18 inches onto a concrete floor and the back shattered. Clearly their magic robot didn’t try every angle and height. This is my 2nd ever iPhone and both have shattered after very small, low impact drops.

@t2dev

How come all the damn iphones I've owned broke or got damaged when dropped?

@doompod

Well, that’s a lie because it’s made of glass 😂

@SirtubalotTX

Like less memory is ‘better’ than more? Rooight

@sobeit712

They can make a phone durable as well as repairable. They refuse to do it. Don't give them excuses, they refuse to make it more repairable for Money and Greed reason. Please don't insult people's intelligence.

@thealmightyjensen3367

Can’t believe marques is doing apples bidding. It makes it hard to trust him as a source to say something as foolish as this. Louis rossmann would be disappointed in you

@harishFx16

Let’s all agree with the elephant in the room, GLASS ! Since wireless charging has become a thing we have to endure with glass back (ironically front too) which is susceptible to just one drop. Yes one perfect drop will shatter your phone completely (some maybe lucky but most of us used all our luck in our first date) so the thing being is if we sacrifice or find other alternatives for wireless charging we probably can get a very durable phones

@MonzaniaStrike

Lithium battery technology isn’t good enough and screens still break. Solve that and we can talk about factory durability.

@jeffreydurham2566

Extreme durability might be great things like damage for dropping it, but much of what people bring their iPhones in to repair are things on the inside.

@joshharrison9054

Its not a binairy system, you can have your caje and eat it too. There is a right balance between features, repairability, durability, and cost.

@jzurita6186

People have super old cars and other super old products that were both durable and fixable. I know Apple paid you to word this that way but you and everyone else knows its bullshit

@anttikarhu22

Cut the crap. Same phone every year.

@MarkBowenPiano

As long as you can make something never needing repair and you can keep the cost down then that's always going to be better. Every time you repair something there's a cost and it mounts up.

@Gharial555

They have a robot for dropping…for dropping. 😑

@amc8313

This one is 100% propaganda for apple …. unbreakable will never happen from any apple product. Marcus is a company shill

@Qwillo749

LOL, worst take ever, glass back means totally not durable and never will be. which means it will need to be repaired

@UrInMyZone

durability honor x9c already have it😂

@seanlacroix

The problem with that idea is that there’s a certain percentage of all electronics that go bad from any company no matter how it’s built. Eventually even the best stuff is going to need repairs.

@teachingwithipad

i always got a case and dropped my phone many times and I have never broken a phone in my life. My very first ipod touch and iphone4 works to this day. I dont know how you morons keep shattering the screen.

@harya7517

Cool… apple made their hardware unbreakable…

*the software no longer getting support when new Iphone released

@Jasepo

Durability lasts as long as apps and OS is supported in the model. What use has for me an iPhone that can last 10 years if they dropped support 5 years ago and is currently useless?

@pratikkhandelwal2208

Mkbhd now a days seems to be too opposed with apple. He is talking about apple durability when many apple users can be seen with broken iphone back and front, then repairs comes at the cost of almost half of new iphone specially in country like india. Neither they are durable after so many testing nor they are easy to repair and cost way too high to repair. All apple know is to earn more money from their users. Seems like he is simply promoting them.

@DanielsPolitics1

Doesn’t Corning, who make the glass for the screen, endlessly complain that every time they make better glass, Apple thins the screen again so that it shatters when dropped?

@rickkarrer8370

That’s not a complete picture, unless someone can develop a battery and other components that never fail. Otherwise, they’re failing at both durability and repairability.

@arjayarjay8856

Thanks for making this informational short video.
