  1. Apple employee asking about the cameras installed inside the toilets "don't worry it's just feature flagging, they haven't been turned on yet you'll know because they'll be a red light" "but there's always been a red light" "oh…. Better call hr…"

  2. That’s the opposite of what Bose and Sonos do, those deactivated wire lan in their Bluetooth boxes, or killswitched them completely with a necessary update on purpose

  3. 1. you’ve already paid for those parts
    2. apple says it updates your device to give you new functionalities while in fact they shipped an unfinished product to you and fixed it in post production.

  4. So partially the reason their phones and computers are damn pricey is because they put in experimental hardware as part of an “upgrade” in which they can just switch it on later and say it’s a “new” feature? I’m both impressed that in a way people don’t have to shell out to buy a whole new product for the “new feature”, but a SMIDGE irritated that we could’ve had these “features” unlocked the first place for the price we bought them. 😑💸

Also F#%k that they can just switch on something inside our devices out of the blue whenever they wanted 🤬😤😡

  5. Not exclusive to Apple tho. Nintendo had bluetooth compatibility for the Switch from the get go for wireless controllers but didnt enable it for wireless headphones for several years

  6. Did you know that we’re supposed to cancel apple for soldering the SSDs onto the motherboards and also overcharging 4x the price per terabyte and also , they’re not doing soldering/unsoldering repairs so if the SSD fails , they will replace your whole motherboard with cpu and ram and charge you accordingly for the operation???????? Did you know that Marques ???
