Every iPhone I have ever had has had some sort of heating issue. This means the iPhone gets really hot or thermal throttles, however with the new iPhone 16 pro max I have not had this problem. unfortunately there is some bad news for the base iPhone 16.

I have a iPhone 16 pro and it has NEVER overheated
My base ip11 litterally didnt even overheat now i switched to a ip 16 pro (not max) and its overheating so much

My iPhone 15 pro fried itself to death a week after the warranty ran out. Used stock cable and charger. Apple Store said it was “normal” for that to happen.

i had the iphone xr and it overheated super fast now i got the regular iphone 16 and i have to say that i never hat a heat prooblem since i got it
