It's stupid to co.pare only the flagships. The big piint from android is the quantity of choice. Fairphone might not be tge fastest phone. But when someone only cares for the eco friendly thing he will take fairphone despite an iphone has better performance. So you restriction to the flagships seems just like you want the iphone to win.

Pixels came out of nowhere last year and the tables turned. They give the longest support on a smartphone and they sell every components along with the needed stuff to actualy repaire them via iFixit. That's the best echo friendly phone in my books
