  1. The Ancient Greeks made quite an impact on world history, with their contributions in art, architecture, and language still going strong today. What do you find most fascinating about their cultural impact?

  3. ancient greece was heavily influenced by ancient Egyptian since the Minoans civilization in the 2nd millennium BCe but the ancient Egyptian influence wasn't that strong during the Mycenaean rise. The temples and tombs as well as statues are most commonly used in ancient Egyptian it's earliest structure at lower Nubia ( sudan) built by middle kingdom of ancient Egypt.

  4. 4,000 year old Greek Civilization destroyed in 30 yrs by converting to Christianity. Should not have forgotten your old gods, m0nsters of izlm and catholicism caused so much damage to humanity and ancient structures, millions have been killed in name of false god such as allah and jesus

  5. What compelling content. A similar book I read was a revelation for my understanding. "The Art of Meaningful Relationships in the 21st Century" by Leo Flint

  6. A compact and well-made introduction to Ancient Greece. How we would like to stroll through the streets of Ancient Athens! We at Æsop's Teachings strongly believe that we can learn much from Ancient Greece. That's why we have devoted our channel to the retelling of Aesop's Fables.

  7. Very Interesting ✊🏾✊🏾 I never learned about Ancient Greece in Elementary / Middle School. I never been around 🇬🇷 people in my childhood by me being born & raised in Baltimore Maryland I never exeperinced different cultures

  8. Fake history is the greek history.
Ancient Greece bla bla bla ,but but not a single authentic map with Greece on it before 1829 .
Greece is just a Phonecian colony and that is it .
No city -states but a gypsy ghettos as Phoencian trade-ports allowed to be there .

  9. Great fighting skills + great skills at intellectual theft = Ancient Greece

Ancient Greeks are the most overrated, hyped group of peoples. They were mostly plagiarists like the 2,000 year later British. Thank heavens the plagiarists died out.

Civilization ALWAYS requires a large, fertile river plain to flourish. It can certainly move on from there to other pursuits, but it cannot spring up on a bunch of mountainous islands in the middle of the sea.

  10. Never forget the Greek Genocide – Holocaust.

Suddenly, Turks appeared to be coming. They were circling the mill, making wild noises… Then they broke the door of the mill and rushed upon us… Before the eyes of my forgiven husband and my child they dishonored me many times. Yesterday they slaughtered my child and dismembered my husband with their knives. They eviscerated him and gave me his meat to eat. They shouted at me that if I didn't eat from my husband's meat, they would slaughter me too. At that time, shots were heard. The Turks themselves were throwing to notify their people that the Greek army was coming… At the sound of it they ran to leave. Thus I was saved… The officers and soldiers saw my plight, and took me with them…"

The history of the destruction, the chronicle of the shocking genocide, has reached our days only through the sobs of the uprooted. Scattered narratives, what the mind holds, what it can and wants to hold. And yet… There is a hard, irrefutable document. They are the testimonies of the refugees, those who had just escaped Haru the teeth. Fresh memories, irrefutable evidence, could constitute the Black Book of the disaster.

A few excerpts from thousands of testimonies, before judicial authorities, of thousands of refugees. Their very words, as they uttered them while still having the longing of fear…
