Ethiopia provides 85% of the Nile's water, which is crucial to Egypt, yet Somalia’s actions appear to disregard the longstanding tensions between Ethiopia and Egypt. Furthermore, Ethiopia, with its population of 130 million, remains landlocked, and access to the sea is vital for its survival. Somalia's actions are seen as a betrayal, especially considering Ethiopia’s pivotal role in its current stability.
Ethiopia appreciates Turkey's involvement in mediating between Ethiopia and Somalia, provided that the negotiations are fair. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Ethiopia and Somalia is a done agreement.
As to my wish and view, I still insist on the idea that Ethiopia neees to keep the covenant of MoU so long as Somaliland is willing to adhere to the binding conditions of the covenant of their agreement.

Because logically Ethiopia cannot dictate or manipulate Mogadishu- Somalia and Somaliland to be UNIFIED to become one NATION. Ethiopia didn't and won't be a key player to cement these two divergent brotherly and sisterly neighboring nations to go apart ot to get unified. Because, the two have their own interest and needs that no one can force them to do when it comes to sovereignty.
Thus, the only best option for Ethiopia is to be friend of both Somaliland and Mogadishu-Somalia while still maintaining the fulfilment of the desires and interests of Ethiopian people, that is to say, get access to SEA or OCEANIC PORTS. Being a family of more than 120 million people, we don't want live without access to SEA PORT because we believe as human being the water resources of the globe are the collective property of human societies of the WORLD. Be it via Somaliland or Mogadishu Somalia, or the Unified Great Somalia, Ethiopians want to live with good neighbours and also want free access to SEA PORT to make trade with other nations of the world living overthere.
