  1. Trekked through these mountains the same year this was filmed. Unreal landscapes and great people too. Super friendly, amazing food and amazing landscapes/culture. Inspired me to do my final year university paper on the merits of their political system! Absolutely will go back.

  2. Ethiopia has plenty wonderful tallest buildings in the world built by nature in the Tropics. Most of them are above 3000 meter. About 75% of the African continent mountains and 83% of the entire African continent highlands are in Ethiopia. The Ethiopian landscape is breathtaking where no human buildings, arts, pictures and you name could matching it. So, when you are visiting Ethiopia, you are also visiting, admiring and enjoying them, too.

Ethiopia has four seasons mainly in the north around the Nile and central thanks to the high altitude. Visiting Ethiopia during the rainy season is like being in a wonderful place experiencing every moment the dramatic happenings of nature coming from the sky.

On the mountains particularly at the Simien Mountains sometime you become in the cloud, above the cloud or you are feeling the cloud is on top of you. During the spring Time, the Ethiopian landscape is reminding paradise is nowhere but on earth at the mountains, valleys and plateaus including the Simien Mountains.

There is another protected area called Choke in eastern Gojam. It is up to 4100metere high with large areas of plateaus, grass lands, valleys and mountains. It is the source of 79 rivers and 275 streams where all of them are tributaries to the Nile. Nile in Ethiopia has more 1200 permanent

Tributaries and 1300 seasonal. The Nile river source is in Gojam and its water comes from the region called Amhara including the Simien Mountains.

If you are a Christian and interested in Christianity, visit Ethiopia to get

Torah, old and New Testament together in their original forms with purity. Christianity became a state religion since 333 AC. Before that the country was a Jewish faith follower for more than 950 years. After accepting the coming of the waited messiah which is Jesus, Jewish temples became churches, Rabbis became Kahans/Priests and the old Jewish ceremonies

became part of the Christian faith ceremonies and rules including today.

The Ethiopia Orthodox does believe and accept that Torah, old and New Testament are like grandfather, son and grandson together with continuities. They are together like one and also three the same times and the one cannot/must not exist without the other two and vice versa.

  3. Thank you so much this's Amazing presentation. It would have more beautiful scene if it was in October or September. It looks more green nd atracting those months or in rainy season (May to Augest) ..Tnx again

  4. Hi great video. The views are spectacular and dramatic but the color is completely different when traveling in October. In October immediately after the rainy season, everything is green and the vegetation is different from the vegetation we saw elsewhere in the world.

  5. Great pictures! Professional. Choice of local jazz music a plus. I saw areas in this video that I had not in the many other Simien Mountains videos I had watched.
