  1. We are being ruled or governed by a group of people who believe, in their heart of hearts, that the vast majority of Ghanaians are fools; and thus cannot read between the lines; see through their deceitful governance style; and above all, too timid to complain and voice out our feelings. Together with their lackeys in the media (radio, tv, print, online) and party communicators, they are deluded in thinking that we are all singing from the same sheet: their sheet!
From the conception and implementation of the free SHS policy (right from the BBC interview the President had on HardTalk pre-2016) to issues surrounding the Ayawaso West Wuogon by-elections to fight against Galamsey to National Cathedral brouhaha to performance on the Economic side of things to "Digitalisation" and Agenda 111, a well-calculated trend of deception, dishonesty and a penchant for scuttling honest debate of facts and figures; and display of intellectual arrogance, or is it ignorance by operatives of this administration has become the order of the day.
Sometimes, I just wonder whether these are the same people that we all attended Primary, Secondary and University with; who all of a sudden see their classmates as fools incapable of discerning anything…or we become intelligent only if and only when we become members of the ruling party? Intelligence will be conferred on us only when we are in the same boat with them …
Time to vote them out…enough of this bad governance.

  2. First the incompleted / uncomissioned hospitals must be dealt with. Followed by rehabilitation of our old hospitals. Then we can invest in new ones. God help Ghana and Ghanaians 😊

  3. This is absolutely unprofessional by Ben Akakpo!!!!!

Politicians make projections and promises throughout the world in every country. It doesn’t mean they will achieve all of it because intervening circumstances that impact the economies are unknown. And in this case there was Covid and war.
The real measure of an administration is the amount achieved or accomplished out of their initial projections or promises.

The NPP should be praised for even making many bold projections and promises and being able to accomplish some. You can argue that they didn’t do enough but you cannot take them to task by ignorantly comparing actual with promises and implying they failed.

The negativity of this Ben is beyond reason.

    Who employed this guy?

  4. The exchange rate means nothing if we implement import substitution measures and curb excess importation of things we can produce ourselves. Stop worrying about it they will not fix it they are puppets. Ghana is a vassal state. We're set-up to function poorly and will never amount to nothing. Feed your masters

  5. Ok. Everything you said about the constitution is right. The president has too much power; agreed. But this same constitution which grants him all these powers, DOES NOT grant him the power to tell parliament not to send him a bill that the representatives of the people have passed. Stay on that issue and don’t get distracted with the larger issue of a flawed constitution that grants the president too much power.

Telling the parliament not to send him a bill that has been passed on the premise that that bill is being challenged at the SC on its constitutionality—an illegal move that this same duplicitous president is orchestrating behind the scenes—IS NOT one of his “too many” powers. PERIOD! The man is simply a power-hungry, arrogant and disrespectful midget with a Napoleon complex! He, by his actions, has shown utter contempt not just for parliament, but for the people of Ghana whose representatives sit in that house, and for democratic governance.

  6. i have been looking for your Blunt Thoughts section for the past one month. i thought u stopped doing it cus its too factual lol. please create a special chanel for your program so you will be easy to find. great job and good analysis.

  7. You should be wearing ndc t shirt presenting your blunt thoughts. No one is saying don't criticize the government but when you over do it, it leaves much to be desired. From the time you started this segment, it's been government bashing every week. All you are doing is conscientizing your viewers to dislike the npp at the ballot.

  8. When evil men leads a nation, the people suffer in abject poverty and hopelessness. Whoever thinks the system of government in Ghana 🇬🇭 is multi party democracy needs a brain transplant. Take a look how the country has retrogressed since this animal farm constitution came into place.
