The real reason the US sees China as an economic threat is because our poor leadership has less creativity in economic strategies then the leadership of China. BTW there are over 360 Walmarts in China not to mention all the McDonalds and Subways. The South China Sea is a trade route for China to trade witj Southeast Asia, Indonesia, and elsewhere. We threaten them when we send fleets to linger amd conduct military exercises off their coastlines.. imagine how some US senators would react if the situation were reversed and we had Chinese fleets a few hundred miles off our western coastline. Go back and see how creative Chima was in their dealings in Africa compared to the west's simpleton approachof aquiring resoirses from that continent.

Right now there is peace among world powerful nations. Why would they want to disrupt this peace. I dont understand why other countries put power before prosperity and wealth. America have helped the world economy to prosper. Why are they trying to disrupt this peace now thhat they have wealth? Why try to be more poerful than the dominant force?
