  1. If you enjoy all the greenery and fresh air, might I suggest you look at videos about Kentucky. They have grass there called Kentucky Blue grass. It is sooooo soft to walk on. It does rain there most days (gentle rains normally) but you can grow just about anything that isn't tropical.

  2. The reason some houses are more expensive is because those areas are on the ocean on the ocean guys. How much money is a house in the middle of the desert in Algeria and how much is that same house on the ocean on the coast?

  3. A lot of the southern states that have expensive areas…you can get not expensive houses real close to the expensive areas. Just go one town or county over and just about anyone can afford to live there with 15min-1 hr drive to the expensive area. And the average price doesn’t mean there aren’t cheaper properties there. The “catch” for that West Virginia home prices is that a lot of West Virginia is cheap. It’s a very poor state. Known for a lot of drugs. Very mountainous so kinda hard to get around in general and not much there other than nature. But the nature is probably in the top 5 in the continental US.

  4. Sadly, there are no dragons in Point Pleasant. West Virginia is a very pretty state, but it is also relatively poor. This means that there are issues with drug addiction and the resulting crime, and there are few public services in some places.

  5. Virginia and west va have house you can buy for less than 100 thousand my home I bought in luray virginia was 68000 dollars it only had 1 acre of land but it was nice I think when they say average price there talking about new homes but there are a lot of pre-owned homes a lot cheaper

  6. some of the places are expensive like alaska because most of the food and supplies have to be imported from the main part of america. so what would cost one amount for lets say bread in the lower 48 states as we call them (all the states besides alaska and hawaii), it would cost maybe 10x the amount in alaska.

  7. Alaska is stunningly beautiful. I lived there over 20 years and Whittier is gorgeous. There are boats that take you on the ocean and see all the wildlife. It’s magical and not far from Anchorage. You would probably love it.

  8. In the old days, circuses were traveling shows Ringling Brothers would pack their entire setup on trains including elephants, tigers, lions, horses and don't forget the freak show. Sarasota offers a perfect winter climate for the off-season for the performers and animals to get well-deserved rest.

  9. West Virginia and (Western) Pennsylvania – two states with some pretty affordable towns because of the steel and coal industry collapse. Which means dying state population, dying towns, etc.

  10. Keep in mind, even though a lot of these home avg prices are high, there are some a lot less. Also, the higher the home values, often higher the pay in the area. So don't let these videos discourage you.
