  1. 🌍 A Year in the Making! 🌍

This episode took an entire year to put together between other projects—with no sponsorship or support from local government—allowing us to share Ghana’s story authentically, with the support of so many amazing Ghanaians who helped bring it to life.

Huge thanks to the incredible Passport Heavy team for their dedication, passion, and hard work ❤

  2. I enjoyed this video very much. I had my resignations about going to GHANA because of it's history, and people's participation in the slave trade. I've had a lot of resentments. But after watching this video, perhaps I am ready to heal, and visit my ancestors land.

  3. Pray to God and trust in him. God said not to seek wealth and prosperity in the material world, and the pride of this world belongs to the Egyptians. Black Americans we need to wait on God he has a place prepared for us. No people that sell and enslave others can be trusted.

  4. Reason why black folks need to stop deflecting from thinking they are not descendants of africa. Really sad some think they are native american. even though slavery was 400 yrs. smh

  5. It is very strange to hear us use the expression “dark times or darkness” with a negative connotation. This language perpetuates colorism.
If dark is bad, then by default the opposite is not.

When will we update our mental software and eliminate this colonized mindset.
