I’m glad people are seeing through the nonsense with the developers in Ghana, they keep creating sub par properties and slap prices on it labour is cheaper in Gh than the US, Land is cheaper in Gh than the US, materials are cheaper than the US yet US properties are cheaper there is a clear scam here lol. Ok i understand the idea of a house being in a prime area. Just curious what would be the all in costs to build such a house in that area. People in the real estate industry in Ghana please comment. My pet peeve in Africa, being from Zimbabwe myself is unscrupulous fly by night businesspeople who specialize in overcharging, profiteering at the expense of the general public. The fact that African Americans are going to Ghana should not justify above normal profit margins.
I live in the US and just yesteday saw an article that the Canadian government has put a moratorium on foreign investors investing into real estate due to run away housing prices with 20% year on year increases mainly due to Chinese hot money chasing a housing market with little actual growth in new housing. Our regulators need to take a big look at this because before you know all the so called prime areas will be reserved for foreigners – not a good look in my opinion.
I have commented before on other channels Ghana developers are thinking people are going to pay western America prices for a BASIC house without beautiful spacious landscape NO it's NOT worth it, those developer need to travel to Rwanda, Tanzania and South Africa to see homes.

Im sorry but Ghana and their homes, Sigh. Walking in, the poor choice of having a salmon home color, Maroon color accent, golden woodwork, gold metal-ware with those White based windows????????? Big boxy rooms no character and the kitchen, Geesh! Formica looking countertops, standard looking white subway tile floating in the middle wall around the working area of the kitchen, the cabinets has this faux looking grey marble accompanied by a beige looking wall??? Also the kitchen is tucked away like it is a workshop far off as a maid's quarters.
I've seen some of these properties in this area and It is very interesting this area homes are considered high dollar given their homes are literally in competition with low income housing areas in the USA.
It seems to be best to buy legitimate land and just build your own home.

These house owners in Ghana charging such extortionate prices for these "ordinary" homes need to travel to some parts of Africa and see proper beautiful modern homes on 3 times the size of the land for less than what they're charging here it's ridiculous.

The price is really high Dela, with the price quoted, I can get twice a 4-bedroom house fully furnished by building it myself. No disrespect my dear, but that just the honest truth.
