Great movie🇿🇦❤. Impi's life is similar to that of most South African boys who grow up in poverty, it doesn't always end in sunshine and rainbows and I think that's what this movie is telling us. As much as we wanted it to have a happy ending, we can atleast appreciate that its realistic. Endings should be unpredictable as well and that's what makes it good film. If you grew up in a rough township you know young boys are forced into things they don't want to do daily. No one wakes up and decides they want to be a criminal or a murderer.
I need to closing credits soundtrack.

“Your brother is a cop” that reminds me of the apartheid movie Danny Glover was in
I found that the script was quite well written and the actors brought their characters to live in a fantastic way. The gang boss was a great actor and you could feel the menace in his voice. The shots of the open South African veld were awesome too and as a Cameroonian living in SA, I could relate to the natural beauty of SA which is a sharp contrast to the more tropical vegetations we have in West Africa. Great movie about the difficulties of Black South Africans. A toast to Nerina de Jager for directing this!
No justice for ANYONE in this movie.Dissatisfied with the ending.

See Matthew 5:28), a blasphemer(for taking Gods Name in vain), a murderer (for hating someone. See 1 John 3:15) or maybe even all of them. And that was only 5 of the Ten Commandments. Therefore Gods Standard Is Very High. The Bible Even Says That If We’ve Just Broken One Law We’re Guilty Of Breaking Them All. (James 2:10) So we have all sinned against God and therefore deserve death.(Romans 3:23 & 6:23)That’s why ~2000 years ago A Savior was sent; Jesus Christ, to die for the sins of The World And Then He rose 3 days later. Through His sacrifice He Paid The Fine for our sins, and made Atonement for the sins of the world. Now we can be made new by accepting The Gift of Salvation. In order to accept This Gift, we must first Repent. This is a change of mind about sin (from an embrace of sin to rejection of sin) and a Turning to God.
Once you Repent, you can then turn to FAITH/TRUST in the Savior. A person who has truly Repented of their sin and has Trust in Christ will give evidence of a changed life. Therefore, as a Result of Salvation you’ll then produce Good Works and the Fruit of Salvation. (Reading the Word, Acts of Kindness, readiness to help, to serve, to give of oneself, The Fruits of the Spirit, etc.) You aren’t saved by doing Good Works, but you can then produce Good Works once you are Saved!
No this ending was terrible why? We need movie number 2 😭😭
The ending was heartbreaking for me. I never thought it would end that way. I wanted to see justice, equality and the law in its full course.
Great actors and all… Great movie. But it got me teary.
