What should I name the lil homie?
AI is probably my favorite player of all time. I LOVED watching him hoop as a kid. I didn’t hit my growth spurt till after I graduated High School, but I played organized basketball for my school and an outside league, and I modeled my game after AI so much because I was shorter at the time. So I picked up a lot of his dribble moves so that I could get space from my taller defenders on the perimeter, and I copied a TON of his floaters and layups that he used to get off his shots around the basket over the much taller players that hang out in the paint. I had quite the collection of Allen Iverson jerseys at one time. I had ALL the Nuggets jerseys when they had the white home jerseys, the powder blue for away, along with that dope alternate jersey that had the unique font for Nuggets on the front of the jersey. Unfortunately an ex girlfriend took my dark blue alternate during our split, and the white home jersey was last seen on another lady friend of mine, and apparently she lost it or something. I also had a couple of his sixers jerseys as well that I outgrew unfortunately. I am most upset about losing that dark blue Nuggets alternate jersey because it is SO HARD TO FIND NOW!!! 😭😭😭. I’m about to scoop a couple of these jerseys, starting with the blue Phila, AI jersey, because I’ve been wanting that one for a minute. It is SOOOO CLEAN! After I get my Iverson jersey collection correct again, the next jersey on my list is the purple Vince Carter Raptors jersey with the raptor on the front. I just recently got my red Hakeem Olajuwon Rockets Mitchell and Ness jersey from the Rockets team shop where they had a 30% off sale. So being able to scoop that jersey for 30% off was a come up. Time to get these AI jerseys now ^***birdman hand rub***^ lol

I can't mess with anything if it isn't AUTHENTIC! I had to spend full price ($325) on the '96-'97 Black Pinstripe Bulls Jordan jersey on Mitchell & Ness site last week; I've NEVER seen that one on sale.

With the 1990's mostly in our collective rear-view mirror, it seems hard to believe that Allen Iverson's unique talents as a basketball were not wholly and instantly apparent. I had the black jersey back then.

Great vid like always rio. Being from Toronto it was always Vince and iverson for me. They had some crazy battles against each other in the playoffs. 2001 many sleepless nights remember iverson running down the court pointing with his finger in the air after Vince missed that shot🥺
