Look under common law parliamentary has ..therefore parliamentary is bigger thank Supreme Court

@onetime5350

Kyei Mensah Bonsu is a short-sighted man whose views are just based on politics and not reality or in the interest of Ghana and therefore his views should be ignored

Who runs to court be honest,be honest in your contributions and suggestions.Speaker is protecting the independence of Parliament.

Advice the NPP and Akuffo Addo

@davidhodo8344

Whatever action or decision is in the best interest of Ghana is exactly what the Speaker has done.
When you have a group of people who are extremely corrupt with power, you don't have to treat them in a manner you'd do the civilised.
To the extent that some rogue elements in our as it were, independent state institutions lending themselves as stooges to equally candour lacking ruling class, it behoves on the few bold ones such as such the Speaker Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin with conscience to stand on the side of the ordinary people.
If the affected MPs had declared their intentions as we all know and are aware of now, at a time, into their term in parliament when by-election is possible, will the NPP be this unprincipled?

You've driven Ghanaians into never before draconian economic mess, and all you care about is your dirty egos.

We need change!

@zerosumgame3722

If Bagbin openly ignores the Supreme Court, the sole arm of a democratic government with power to interpret laws, he’s setting a very bad precedent. Allowing the Speaker, a politician, to decide whether a parliamentary seat is vacant to advantage his party, is absolutely political and cannot be justified in any democratic system in the world. The framers of the Constitution would not have anticipated this event, otherwise they would’ve spelled it out clearly in the Constitution. Even worse is the fact that 4 constituencies don’t have representation in parliament.

Bagbin has to stand down and allow Ghana to work by obeying the Supreme Court interpretation. Democratic countries around the world are watching and following. Depriving 4 constituencies representation in parliament would never be accepted by the international community.

@odomankomaba2096

Akua Donkor is inarguably the greatest female political figure in Ghana's history.

@PoundsSterling-f9b

@CHARISSKITS

THE BEST SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT IN THE HISTORY OF GHANA RT.HON ALBAN BAGBIN. GOD BLESS YOU SIR

@MerobenTV

NPP/NDC have caused all these mess in Ghana, they have been in power for 32 years each have ruled for 15 years. Ghana is still where we are, today Ghana is poorer than even before independence. Galamsey issue is not being discussed by any of the candidates at the moment. Mahama is accusing Bawumia and NPP administration with substantiative arguments of failed governance, Bawumia on the other hand is doing same so why can't they engaged in presidential debate to ascertain which of the two candidates is Lying to the good people of Ghana? How long are we going to sit and allowed these political duopolies of NPP/NDC to fool us? If 32 years have not yielded any positive result, then might as well vote them out, Ghana need a new leader outside NPP/NDC, I mean an independent candidate and our beloved country will ones again shine as the black star of Africa. Long live Ghana.

@powerhouse4973

Separation of power 🔥

@skaitvstudios

Madam your questions doesn’t make sense. Did the govt consult and listened to Ghanaians before imposing the numerous taxes and stealing pensioners money?

The courts are been misused

@gmog7857

DR RASHEED DRAMAN is useless, he will agree with anything, in the United States the MAJORITY LEADER in CONGRESS is not a member of CABINET, why is it that Ghanaians always looking to turn service to your country into a money-making venture? Majority leader position in Parliament need to remain the same. What if the majority in Parliament are the opposition political party, will thier leader be a member of the ruling party's cabinet minister? Stop the silly suggestions
IGNORANT and UNEDUCATED SUPREMME COURT JUSTICES need to know where thier power stops……………………

Afenyo misbehaves alot and needs slaps

@clean_9528

Be sincere to yourselves, what if the president with executive powers give such directive to the supreme Court?? Bagbin should should submit to the law. Ghana is not coming to an end today.

@justicemills8357

Put some respect on the name of the Hon Speaker. Your caption must read RT Hon Alban

@InusaMusah

Who say man no dey? The Number 3 Gentleman of the land is also showing where power lies

@dennisbrown7930

We have a competent Speaker
Now the Supreme Court and their Unanimous FC judges should keep licking the feet of the Executive
