  1. Any chance airlines will delay any orders till Boeing is an option. AA could do with a few A380s and recent Jumbo. Are there not still many planes stuck in covid deserts even at the cost of current jetfuel

  2. Is it too late to cancel some of the orders and buy airbus and embrarer? Bad strategy to rely on one plane maker. Going to make Russian air leases way harder at any price when sanctions lifted and fines paid

  3. Boeing increases the output of airplanes and the quality falls apart while Airbus does it with no quality issues. Can't shareholders sue Boeing or the managers responsible for this for the loss of value of their shares due to this criminal behaviour?

  4. American deferred delivery of more than twenty 787s on purpose. Now they are complaining that they have to reduce service because of lack of airplanes. That makes perfect sense🤪

  5. For some reason the main US-based airlines have long been appallingly bad compared to their Middle-Eastern or Asian counterparts and even compared to many European majors. American seems to be the worst of the lot.

  6. Can I ask why you have not mentioned anything about the A320-321 Engine issues from Pratt Wittney. I Personally know they are grounded pending replacement

  7. What you mean is BOEING aircraft delays – not general aircraft deliveries from other suppliers. Nothing to see at Airbus or Embraer. The MAX should be cancelled outright.

  8. American greed is never ending. That reflects the way they do business disregarding humans safety. Now, they're paying the consequences.

  9. Aircraft are a complicated piece of machinery. Airbus have been working on automation for years, which reduces the opportunities for human error. Boeing are playing catch up. Airbus went through hell getting to this point, lookup A350 wing problems. Add that production of older designs is harder to automate, 737 ows its origin to the 707, so Boeing has big problems

  10. I watched a vid several years ago, maybe around the time of the B777 rollout where the Boeing plant in South Carolina's employees' were interviewed. The employees remained anonymous. The vid has employees stating there is widespread use of pot amongst the line employees on the job. I couldn't believe my ears! I figured the consequences would be exposed one day. I used to be so proud of Boeing for so many years. I always lived in the USA. What a black eye the Boeing executives gave America.

  11. Am I missing something here but why has a door blowout caused more ripples than a few hundred people killed in 737 Max crashes. Is it that the door blowout occured over USA and the two crashes killed non Americans? Where is the American fairness? Was there ever fairness about USA? It seems everything about USA is dual standards from the beginning.

  12. In a year time 12% more Airbuses. So if we discount 4.5% increase of seats/yr for the total industry and 5% for renewing fleets it still got 2.5% growth.
    So this 2.5% at least will be lost by Boeing, widening the gap with 5% 😮
    Next year the difference will be even far more.

  13. American made the right decision to add A320neos to its fleet. This fleet might keep it going until the Boeing fleet is back to normal.

  14. You already heard KLM and Korean air announce massive a350 orders. The industry is highly copetitve with razor thin margins in the best of times and massive losses in the worst. These companies like American and United that tie their ability to operate in the future based on “pride” or tradition of a Boeing relationship are sowing the seeds of their own demise. Delta is making very smart business decisions

  15. American has bad news/service reduction because of Boeing. Delta has good news/service expansion using Airbus. Boeing needs to get their act together, it’s almost as if they’ve decided to stop even competing with Airbus, which is not a good sign for the aircraft manufacturer business at all!

  16. Airbus should have done that earlier, before the pandemic!

    UPDATE: Consider using its Spanish facility in Málaga for its newest European assembly line for its civilian aircraft products – A320neos/ceos, A330 neos/ceos and A350.

    Also, its overseas assembly line in Tianjin, China (Final Assembly Line Asia) in partnership with COMAC and its parent AVIC should consider adding more assemblies for A320s and wide bodies (A330s and A350s).

    Perhaps even exploring the possibility of adding another FALA facility in another mainland Chinese city, preferably inland with substantial presence in the aerospace industry like Xi’an, Chengdu, Harbin, Guiyang, Chongqing, Lanzhou or Taiyuan
