May be i am wrong but I have the impression that some white south Africans haven't done away with "apartheid" in their mind yet. How can you come to a country, you colonize its native people, you murder them when they march for independence, they forgive all of that afterwards and accept to share their country with you because they are kind and acknowledge that you have nowhere to go in Europe because you have been therein South Africa for long.
