  1. Dope podcast. Love it! Talking about religion especially christianity and islam, what it does is that it polices every facet of your life. Dr marimba Ani said "any religion that do not acknowledge your culture is not for you". Spirituality on the other hand is personal and esoteric which is why our ancestors didn't need to go around the world in the name of african spirituality to plunder, pillage and enslave. To even think that the soldiers, their guns and ammunitions, along with the bible and the missionaries all on the same ship came to Africa to teach us about christ and his loving heavenly father?? And the derogatory names such as 'heathens' & 'pagans' with which christians and muslims refer to black people especially & unbelievers in their "holy" text is unacceptable for me as an African. Its crazy that europeans and arabs that enslaved us and raped our lands for centuries are now who we look up to for morality, faith and the best of living. Oyinbo people didn't even bathe regularly until they met Africans! Na we teach oyinbo people to dey baff daily. Queen Elizabeth I of england at the time had to use herself as an example for her people say she go dey baff once a year. As a black person in this world, our African identity has been taken from us so we're "black" but we cant be stuck on black, we must now begin that journey to reclaim what is ours in rediscovering ourselves again as African men and women.

  2. Guys, instead of wondering about religion, colonization, etc… you should go sit your ass at school and study. This conversation as been done for more than a few century's ago. We as africans are always comming to late to the conversations.
Stop trying to reinvent the wheel! The wheel is already invented… there is no shame to pic up what others invented if it's good for you .
Religion is man made, its a system to subjugate, its a tool used by the rulling classes to subdue the people.
God does not exist! Spirituality is bullshit. No wonder why we Africans still centurys behind the rest of the world and get exploited till this day. Focus on the objective life, not the subjective, wich you only can guess.
Christianism is a sekt from Judaism, Islam is a sekt from Christianism and Judaism. They are slave makers! Study cience and technology and get out of the dark ages.
If we africans spend the same amount of energy that we spend on "religion/ spiritualy" in learning cience and technology, we would be sitting at the table instead of crawling under the table hopping for some bread crumbs.
China did it, singapore did it, Japan did it, Malasya did it, Germany did it, South Korea, the Scandinavian's did it… but no, we open a podcast and start talking about things that others discovered a few centurys ago and pretend to be intelectuals (Sad).
Start reading Edgar Mourin, Mircea Eliade, Richard dawkins and many others.

  3. An African will ask you to like, subcribe, share and comment… and then DELETE your comment… Slavery and colonisation does not happen to a group of people by accident. Sies!

  4. This is exactly how i feel & is why i stopped going to church- i cant get past the fact that the only reason my people are following this religion is because they were forced into it through being a slave. If the religion was so great and life saving why go through such treacherous dehumanizing measures? Please we are patiently awaiting part 3🤎
