Sierra Leone is no longer interested in reminding our brothers and sisters in the diaspora about the pain and suffering our ancestors going through in the time of slave trade. That is why most of this area like bounce Island. Banana Island. York villages and King Jimmy are not fully maintained because of our people that came back from Nova Scotland. Sierra Leone is one of the main centre ground distination in Africa for most white slave business owners.

Thanks for covering this history that in many respect forgotten and is covered greatly in places like Ghana. Is there a connection to the slave dungeons in Ghana? Was this on in SL a feeder dungeon to Ghana? ALso what tribes were selling other Africans in SL at that time?
