  1. Uhhh. I think ive watched every decent documentary on YouTube , since that’s the only content I watch , at all on YouTube … but sadly , I really wished this was a narrated documentary of the wildlife , only …. that woman has the most irritating , harsh , thin, shrill , loud , elevated and overly projected voice and I can’t deal with it … it hurts my ears and makes me cringe. I’ve had seizures from listening to people with that same type voice and mannerisms , with those same inflections snd tones and overly harsh volume and edginess … can’t finish watching as a result .. idk why some ppl use those over the top inflections and mannerisms , as she doesn’t have to project and talk at that range in tone, as her natural voice , especially when spoken in a more appealing volume level , would be a few notes lower even at the top of the range in enunciating and among inflections, etc … it’s often for attentions sake , that people develop those speaking habits … and she very well may be thinking she’s got to project so loudly to be heard , but she’s yelling and sounds so harsh and her mannerisms and way she speaks in general are just badly that of an irritant to my ears … the content very well may have been remotely insightful , but can’t handle that edgy ,shrill , overly loud voice … and was hoping for an actual narrated documentary only covering the animals and their behaviors and giving insight , while observing them … I much prefer that to any commentary that people feel they need to do over / between the content … so many people seem to have to do their typical thing whenever a camera is present , being over the top and loud and having to get their camera time , when there’s perfectly good content within the recording that would be very lovely and insightful and enjoyable if showcased on its own , allowed the spotlight without interrupting commentary or someone feeling the need to behave as some tv host or mimicking that typical news journalist type element , where they always feel the need to overly be loud or dramatic and “
Camera ready “ , thinking it’s more somehow professional , in doing so or they just modify their behavior anytime a camera is recording … id have much rather seen the wildlife and surroundings without humans present during / in the recording . It’s bad enough people intrude into Nature to the degree they have done … but it would’ve been nice to be able to enjoy this without the commentary.
And if someone simply speaks clearly and fluidly , it’s not necessary for them to have to almost be yelling or projecting at the top of their voice, requiring them to strain vocal cords and project in a harsher , more elevated , loud volume level to be clearly audible. If someone’s going to do commentary outside , they can still use proper microphones / equipment or narrate the vocal parts by adding snd layering the sound separately from the visuals , to give a warmer , more inviting quality to the Tone and volume level in which they’re speaking .. doing otherwise contributes to unnecessary vocal strain and even those who speak publicly on a daily basis have to take precautions to not ruin their voice or damage their vocal chords , by being
Careful to project in a pitch range that is most conducive to be audible and carry , despite having to force or push it when speaking .. and she’s not having to project over a large venue , even if being outside , when the camera mic is close enough to get in frame and pick up the Audio. But it would’ve been a lot less harsh and loud , had they used a decent microphone and had she not sent everything into that elevated range of speaking at the top of her natural speaking voice, which in reality would’ve comfortably sat at the mid to lowest of pitch / tonality that she’s speaking .. or yelling almost … I get that not everyone is going to remotely pay attention to all that detail for detail , but many ppl do exhibit symptoms of misophonia and can relate to where I’m coming from 😂. No offense to her personally by any means … only saying for the sake of the content , Things could’ve been avoided . Aside from that , its not anyone’s fault that conditions like misophonia affect people in the way they do .. combined with a serious seizure disorder and Dysautonomia , it’s very difficult for me if I hear certain things that trigger such serious reactions , symptoms or health concerns.. I feel bad N ways Bc I don’t intend to be Hurtful or negative toward anyone in pointing out any areas I’d take issue with or perhaps feel would be better , if lacking some characteristics and mannerisms or behaviors , etc … I wish anyone all the best , just for me , certain things stand out adversely and I can’t get past it to relax and get into the content , when certain things trigger potentially serious reactions. Wish it didn’t bother me but I have no control over it and it’s not simply a preference . I’ve tried for decades to work thru the way certain noises impact my conditions and they can work against things , when combined with other triggers . I’ve just never been able to hear some people talk without my ears actually becoming so overly sensitive or heightened to the impact of the noise to
Where it causes physical pain , at times visual disturbances, headaches , auras , full on convulsive seizures with loss of consciousness and body control , as well as movement disorder like symptoms ,Dizziness or anxiety when hearing the source of such sounds . Can’t listen to certsin Music that hits a particular range of notes and remains fixated within them , either and i tnink its the same situation involving those notes and their pitch and dynamics that does it , more so than simply an individual producing them but it does add to it , when ppl have certain mannerisms and inflections and even certain accents and vernacular can contribute to a reaction. I really hate it and wish it wasn’t an issue. I was born blind and have had at least 40-45 surgeries , most being rather invasive or major , throughout my life and I so believe my blindness for the bulk of so many years from birth on , contributed to my other senses being overly sensitive to cope without sight . I am legally blind at this point in one eye , Though id at one point had much better results after some surgeries but though my condition has been studied by world renowned physicians long before my venturing into the medical field, technology has yet to arrive at being capable of fixing the cause or symptoms / impacts of the conditions involving my sight . So , it only gets worse, til I can’t have anymore surgeries and lose sight completely again and we’re too that point as of now , with major decrease snd I’ve noted that along with my sight worsening , my other senses become more and more sensitive and involved and the more worse it’s become of late , the more so , things get to me and being forth such a bad reaction. I don’t say this to put anyone down or be hurtful , despite being rather direct and that’s mainly the misophonia influencing things on a frustrating level, unfortunately. I do appreciate the effort and dedication and work that goes into making content of thus nature. Would appreciate more of the narrated documentary style content with the natural sounds , rather than all the typical music Ppl will add to things bc anyone that’s ever Added all that over the intended content had often been over the top with it to where it can be a lot louder and too busy with everything happening to influence everyone, Like it or not.. can’t help it but nothing i can do.
