Is it my responsibility to inform someone of the real value of an item they are offering for sale, if in fact I believe the price to be well below the actual value? An ethical question? This couple found that they had lost out (based on what you have shared in this video). They decided to go back and recover what they did not know existed. They did no research, but expected to cash in on the research or knowledge of someone else.
They sold the mask so I have no sympathy for them at all. How many times have you seen something for sale that is cheap, only to find out later it is worth more than you paid?
The old saying you snooze you lose applys. That old couple was snoozing for sure.
