I never thought of it like that. But he’s right though. Black American culture is just a mix of African , European, and maybe a little Native American. Like braids and gold chains are African, the clothing is a mix also of European and African style that they make their own , even the music and dancing etc. and it’s nothing wrong with that. There’s nothing exclusive to African American culture so I get what he’s saying. He’s not wrong. Basically African American culture is really African culture but we keep trying to separate ourselves and say it’s AA, but it’s really not and it sounds silly.
