I don't have a whole room to put a bird in so should I not own one? I live in an apartment

We bought toys for our parrot but he seems to destroying them and one day got the hook stick onto his mouth and needed medical help so we stop buying hanging toys with hook and ring klips

Lots of work involved caring for birds. Also I appreciate you using hygienic precautions for your own health. Because constant exposure to irritatants will cause sensitivities, making it impossible to own birds.
Please I want to know why you wear a mask is it protect your lungs from parrots hair and dust as we have a parrot grey and don’t wear mask when we wake him and cover him at night please advise is it safer
I have a Eurasian magpie along with a parrot. I keep them separate but a good idea to keep mess off Your walls is a decent shower curtain set up.

Hi I am Priya from India my African grey 7 months old has been sick since 2 weeks he showed symptoms like cold not talking at all his appetite also decreased and importantly he became weak and sometimes he cannot stand

I like seeing how you care for them. I use packing paper to line the cages and pee pads on their play stands. I also keep my grey, Amazon and Meyers in a room adjacent to our living room. They enjoy the activities of the family and it allows me to include them more into our routines. And all three are rescues!

My African grey almost 5 month old not eating anything except pomegranate and seeds I am offering all veggies and fruits but it only eats seeds and pomegranate his weight is around 415 grams ..what should I do ? Help me out we don't have any vet in my city i mean they ain't specialist in birds
