Thank you to those who commented. I am from the caribbean and something did not sound right coming from the host.. She made it sound that African fabric were not vibrant and colorful until another culture got involved. We cannot let them folks tell our story, it will always get white washed and just full of lies. We the women the women of african descent have always wore our traditional clothing regardless of the relentless violence and oppression around us and Africa.
