I’m in the UK and Ghanaians pronounce words like British. American accent and pronunciation is different from Brits.
The older generation in America use to call gas stations filling stations. At one point, you remember that an attendant use to pump the gas.

The basis of this comparison should be focused on: British v. American English. They are both different in spelling and pronunciation. For example Centre v. Center. They are both correct depending on the country's English you adopted as a speaker. The correct pronunciation of every word can be found in the dictionaries of the two countries. British v American English Dictionary.

Ghana speaks tge best english in Africa though. The pronunciation makes it easy to spell. That's why Amerucans have spelling problem.

The hippopotamus kept me rolling on the floor. I remember it took me a while to grasp how things are pronounced when I arrived here. I used to pronounce stuff the same way they are pronouncing them. The British influence makes us pronounce stuff by ensuring all the letters are pronounced. Great content. Lots of fun. Add a Nigerian to it and you will crack your ribs. Especially when they pronounce words with “tion “. Love your channel
