I'm planning a trip to Bijagos from the US with my 13 year old daughter…she needs to experience different parts of the motherland every year Christmas period. I'd need a trusted guide…can someone hmu perhaps I can get to know you & build trust before I embark on my trip.

The guy speaking at 36:51 just gave the best world advice ever "if you create wants it just creates problems". It's a bar that never ends. It's why here in America our biggest export is causing more mental health disorders, addiction, and suicide than anywhere in the world. People can't keep up with the amount of dopamine that's increasingly needed to feel normal.
That's so crazy, how tourists visit the village. I don't get it. There human beings living their every day life..eating,working,caring for their family. Seems a bit intrusive to me . I mean could you imagine if a tourist company brought people from another continent into be beverly hills and said ok, so this is how the whites and gentiles live and….. Anyway, I hope the people of this region prosper and stay true to their culture
The longer they stay away from western ways, the better. Other than my long rant, I really enjoyed this and all these docs. Thanks.
