In a significant step toward addressing Africa’s energy crisis, leaders from across the continent have committed to bringing affordable electricity to 300 million people by 2030.

The initiative, known as the Dar es Salaam Energy Declaration, was unveiled during the Africa Energy Summit in Tanzania.
