Typical biting the hand that feeds you.
Congratulations to you! You're in fact a lucky man to be able to trace your ancestors' home in Africa. Many people are not lucky to find exactly where they belong though they know that their ancestors are Africans. Good for you
The Europeans brought Racism through out the world. I’ve discovered my Great Great Grandfather founded a town in Arkansas that still bears his name Graves Chapel and a church was built there along with the cemetery in where my Ancestors are buried
Racial Hierarchy created by the Oppressor all through out the world.
This reminds me of the movie Mississippi masala with Denzel Washington and Sarita Choudhury.
This was wild. Aisha was beautiful and her grandson appears to be a beautiful soul as well. The most interesting thing to me is that Adil was able to trace his African heritage back 3/4 generations with NAMES and still was able to meet living relatives and African americans can only go back to 1 generation, maybe 2 at the most.
It's so exciting to discover that if we go back far enough, we are all connected in one way or another. ❤️
Do you see how the Ugandans are fully dressed in the drawing
Embrace all of it, and drink up everything that made you who you are you beautiful human being.
How amazingly blessed to meet his family and pay respects to his ancestors! ❤
Now you see why Idi Amin kicked them out? Even after 60 year they have this nonsense of belief
Forgetting how the Brits treated them
They weren't going to let her have her husband money. The greedy separates families for gain.
THIS was the most amazing journey through his history. My heart was truly and sincerely so happy for him and his new found discovery of his heritage. It not only gave him a new discovery but it as always brings us the audience or viewers something we never knew within that historical journey.
Africa something is being said but we just can’t hear it…. But we will soon ❤
Imagine being in Africa as a colonizer and saying the Africans claiming THEIR PROPERTY is scary. The nerve!! How you think they felt when your people stole it!! Moms is wild.
Colonization by europeans messed the world up in ways that are causing people their lives today and will still be felt for thousand of years to come. It has been like a virus on the world that can't be cured…
The Ugandan Women ARE BEAUTIFUL!
Just Amazing!
This could be a movie. Ngl
Seeing my ancestors photos like that is so encouraging… i pray we can bring them back to that same glory. They dressed so well 😍
Poor Razia loosing her children like that
How can you marry a 13-14 year old orphan girl? That doesn't sound right! If I would try to do that I would be labeled ads a pedo and exploiter and predator etc. Probably locked up!
It is true, my God we all started out in Africa 🌍 of our Ancestors
Nonsense. Blankets? No. Their version of a blanket, yes, but Africans had blankets before them.
These ancestry searches rarely tell the truth. You have to study history to catch the truth. This man comes from a bunch of prolific slave traders. Every bit of his ancestry is soaked in slave blood.
The Africans started thinking "This is my country" The audacity!!😂
I am so proud of him that he except his ancestors
I suspect Adil's grandmother..was half Indian and not half Turkish ……thus why his grandfather was open to marrying her …as long she was part of the tribe .thats what counted ! Do a DNA test !!!!
You can tell that Adil's mother carries the pain of her African mother Aisha. As Adil comes to the realization and understanding and the struggle his grandmother went through ……his "BRITISHNESH" …starts to ….lessen . I think he realizes…that riding that Brit carpet will not be a complete trip in his life without recognizing the importance of taking his African ancestors along the way ….
The pattern of death is authored by the European s. His steps are seen everywhere he lays his head.
Beautiful story ❤️
