An addiction gene …..
Wtf stop telling lies to the people
That rat is now addicted to that plunger on his head..
My friend was delivered from crack she said these rehab centers didn’t help she turned to god she has never been the same
All the comments, are quite the same, but I as a Christian can say that both my parents were chronic alcoholics all their lives, my grandmother liked it too, and I seeing all the horrible results of this just hate alcohol, drugs and any time of violence, I can only think this is not genetic, I don't drink, nor smoke nor drugs, I'm 65 and my only craving is for God. He saved me. Amen
Familial Trauma, and government corruption which has sent masses into poverty, hopelessness and unpredictability- which causes trauma- are the root causes of addiction.
Being clean is NOT THE SAME AS being SOBER.
Stop saying getting/staying clean will be the cure.
Offer Trauma Support, not just sobriety.
How about meth addiction?
When we treat one an other with compassion 😔 miracles are possible. To see a loved one in America be scorned and be dismissed by medical professionals because they are suffering from addiction is so heartbreaking. My sweet grandson died 2 months ago after battling alcohol addiction he was 29 years old. 💔
People who are addicted opiates are one person but have multiple different personalities you gotta find out who you socializing with.
They knew about suboxton long before so many people on opioids were adictive but never said anything.
My son is now on methadone helping him through the addiction of opioids.
Doctors at the time it became popular made so much money prescribing opioids to so many people and I believe they knew what was happening but continued prescribing to their patients.
Everyone tells you to ask for profesional help. When you do, no one replies
Addicts and alcoholics have a built in physical disease. Our brains have a small gland which tells us "Gee a cold beer would be great, or a pill, or a shot right now". If we don't have the tools found in AA or NA. If we act on that message to use and take a substance we are faced with a chemical found in the bodys of alcoholics/addicts that creates an immediate craving for more. So we use and drink until we die. There is help for us
Rehabs, Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics anonymous. There are helping hands for all of us who suffer from this terrible disease
Great Documentary👍

"Your daughter's addicted, we never want to see here again." I went to college for chemistry and chemical engineering. I was prosecuted in the biochemistry department. I had weed in the dorms and they were all cheering and celebrating at the thought of me going to jail for it. I remember at Kansas State Universities biochemistry department when 4 to 6 police cars were parked outside the building all day long when I was in the building. Pastor Bruce was praying at Hope Church for a 3 year old born with marijuana in her hair. Pastor Bruce used to go to the prison and minister to a young man, a 16 year old African American, who shot his childhood friend to death at age 14 over a drug deal. He was sentenced to death row. He talked about the baby face he made in his prison cell, the tears streaming down his face, when he was first met by pastor Bruce to learn about the kingdom of heaven and the chance he was going to receive in Jesus name to see his best friend again. It brought tears to my face, too, when we sent the lumbridge bank chest full of magic mushrooms and marijuana up to heaven together right across the street from Chippewa Middle School.
Addiction is not a disease, it's a normal response to human suffering and until the western medical model can acknowledge the true factual role of a childhood trauma, we will sit here and continue to spin our wheels and nothing will ever truly change with addiction rates in America.
Those who were young and curious and tries Fetty and died. 😅😅😅
Why was someone recording that precious baby crying over her mother?? I’m hoping someone else got help. But…come on. That’s wretched and despicable.
Absolutely Brilliant Documentary
when someone offered me suboxone I felt an immediate sense of whitdrawel. So what is the use of it?
Congratulations to all that are in recovery. You can do it. Changing your life for the better is worth it. Keep going.
I started doing drugs since my teenage, got addicted to Crack. Spent my whole life fighting Crack addiction..Crack addiction actually destroyed my life. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Not until my fiancee recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 6 years totally clean. Much respect to mother nature the great magic shrooms.
Methadone destroyed me- it hit me like tranquilizer; I’d pass out for 4-6 hours and wake up in severe withdrawal – suboxone and subutex make me throw up non stop and all of those meds make me suffer severe depression and overall illness and doesn’t treat underlying chronic physical pain conditions – there has to be other options
I’m an opiate addict of 20 years; I’ve tried inpatient and outpatient therapy, suboxone, subutex, methadone, cold Turkey, tapering, and jail…and nothing treats my pain like street fentanyl
Mark was so strong. Wish him the best.
The hidden story here is big corporations and companies exploiting workers instead of seeing them as human beings, in need of safe working conditions and rest WITH PAY after being injured. Greed destroyed these lives, period.
