  1. It's worth noting that Usian Bolt's record has just recently surpassed Jim Hine's 100m record (1968-1983) to be the longest lasting in history (2009 – Present). Almost 15 years.
So Powell is right about it being there for a very long time.

  2. Yeah it’s crazy but Fred Kerley’s 100m time this year is 10.03, and if you take Flo Jo’s time – his it’s 10.49-10.03=0.46
But his time minus Usain Bolt is 10.03-9.58=0.45 so Kerley is technically still closer to Bolt’s time

  3. Mate, never say never……who knows, what if, at his next meet, he comes oh so close to Bolt's record ( like 0.02 sec off), or even ties it?
If that happens, he wpuld be incredibly motivated, and that would be even crazier than hom outright beating Bolt time bc ppl will REALIZE that he can, in fact, beat Bolt's record, mate……..

  4. When I was in highschool I did average to ok grades even without studying much… so around 75% percentile let's say in my class. This was a quite a low mark. The top contenders in my class were around 95-98% percentile, and the from that point to where I was, there were several people well over 80%…. So my shocking, head shaking, surprise is when all of a sudden, a guy in a lower grade than me that same year, was being congratulated in the school bus for becoming first in his class… at 75%…. O_o

  5. In my opinion, nobody will break Bolts 100m record…200m Yes,Maybe…but not the 100m. Fred must be dreaming or had to say that to Encourage himself 🤔🤷🏽‍♀️🤷🏽‍♀️ &&& there's nothing Wrong with that!! But I dnt see it happening no time soon!!

  6. I like this channel but its really grating when the narrator insists that admittedly trememdous hypothetical accomplishments in sprinting would be more impressive than any feat by any other athlete on the planet. Running isnt the only sport

  7. If Fred never "touches the 100m" again, then his Twitter statement is technically true. In logic, this is called a "vacuous truth". This term is used to describe a situation where a conditional statement is considered true because the premise (the "if" part) is never satisfied. I'm not sure this was Fred's thinking, but I just wanted to wear my Aristotle hat for a moment.

  8. He's either delusional, was drunk, or on narcotics. Those are the only means through which I believe someone can reasonable come to that conclusion about themselves.

  9. He's trying to promote track by being controversial nothing more.
None of the current breed of sprinters has got anything on the guys who ran with Bolt in their prime. The likes of Gay, Blake, Powell. And these all failed to dethrone Bolt.
Fred Kerley is being delusional. Prime Blake or Powell would smoke him. Bolt wouldn't need to even flinch.

  10. Is it just me or would it make sense that people aren’t putting up huge times because they don’t want to miss time the Olympics and peak early?
