Abductions: Terrorists Are Taking Advantage of the Large Ungoverned Spaces in Nigeria – Mohammed

The Tinubu administration has done relatively well in terms of addressing insecurity challenges. Efforts to release the abducted students in Kaduna are underway. There’s no symbiotic correlation between national security agencies and state vigilantes in the fight against insecurity

  1. Our school children is been abducted now and then but it seems that government and local authorities doing nothing. The implications is that the terrorists recruiting their own soldiers that's going to work against the Nigerian state in future.

  2. These days, I don't waste precious time listening to some clueless talk from mediocre. From the AriseTV headline, I simply jump n pass. Russia is 10times+ the size of Nigeria,
Canada, China and USA 6times+ each,
    Australia and Brazil 5times+ each.
Lot lots of landmass, encroach in any part, and see what their security agencies will do to u.
There is nothing like ungoverned space. It is incompetency of the government. Before being president, clueless incompetent Buhari said attack on Boko Haram is attack on the north, on Alamjiri he said is their culture. His children go abroad to study, then children of downtrodden don't deserve good or basic education.
Nigeria is 22.07 bigger than Netherland; Niger state is almost 2times bigger than Netherland.
In 2023 alone Netherland did EUR 123.8billion agricultural products export; at 1,770naira per Euro that's about 217trillion naira. Then these clueless ineptitude politicians are here wasting people time. Northern governors going to Abuja to get monthly bread crumples as allocation. Kings that choose to be beggars 😢😢😢😢😢😢😢

  3. Had it been his family members are part of the abductees he will not sit here and be talking nonsense. Even if it is watermelon you carry up to 200 pieces you must be noticed. This man is a disgrace to humanity.

  4. I tried so hard to understand this guest’s perspective of the issues raised. But his read of the whole situation further points to the need of the state police. Going to America and studying their police apparatus with a view of implementation in Nigeria should be the Joey to resolving the security challenges we face.

  5. Bandits are the feet soldiers of the Fulani caliphate whose aim is to raise funds for arms through kidnappings. The government will pay them ransom in exchange for the release of the kidnapped school children.. All that Mr Mohammed is saying is "Taquiya ".

  6. Why were they just allowing the man drive his own narrative talking too long and completely diverting attention, without their knowing (journalists) gradually tuning towards his direction.

  7. Why can Nigeria have so many ungoverned territories when politicians, shared the forces among themselves and deployed the rest to South East where they are dying like flies in the hands of Biafra liberation Armies?

  8. How can you bring this type of hypocrisy to speak about security? Somebody who is bankrolled by APC Tinubu govt telling lies publicly unprovoked. Stop bringing this type of idiot on national TV.

  9. Who is this man talking nonsense on national TV? There is an improvement in security in Nigeria when over 200 Christians were killed in one day in Plateau, over 200 were killed in one day in a village in Kaduna, 100s, 50s, 80s of people are killed daily across the country and somebody is saying the opposite. This is why the country is not working. Very unfortunate.

  10. Can you hear what this man is saying? UNGOVERNED spaces??? In nigeria? Shai what a shame, why would some area in the country be classified as ungovern in a country that has president and claims to be democratic system of govt.

  11. Exactly the Reason why Nigerians 🇳🇬 are Clamoring for State, LGA, & Community policing soo Nigeria can be properly Governed. The Federal Government raised this notion some time ago then we didn’t hear anything again it shows they’re not serious about Securing Nigerian Lives & Property what a SHAME!!! That’s why a Majority of Nigerians feel that Tinubu is incapable of turning Nigeria 🇳🇬 around for the Better.

  12. Why should the president or anyone have the power to install anyone who isn't democratically voted into office. This man just showed how ignorant he is saying this on national television

  13. I don't know how a mature man will dress up and come to the radio station to lie. Yes, the government is doing well, and Nigerians are being kidnapped and killed everyday, poor man life doesn't matter in Nigeria anymore. All they come to the radio station is to defend their selected president, looking for whom to blame, una no dey shame? God forbid

  14. "Wide ungoverned spaces"? Does this mean a state like Russia which has vast uninhabited spaces in the Siberian tundra does not defend its territorial integrity in those regions? Nigeria is a joke and our leaders are the puppet masters

  15. I had to stop watching this after several lies and out of touch with reality.
He said the president doesn't decide who becomes governor or assembly member, but the governor can decide who becomes local government chairmen…😅😅😅😅

  16. Language dramatization on Media is barbaric. The ungoverned areas you talk about produce votes during elections. Who conduct election there? You know how to rig urselves into power but u don't know how to give the same people security. Thieves,in agbada

  17. FRAME 0:15 "…more than 400 pupils abducted by faceless bandits…"

This is the trouble with Nigeria, why it has FAILED and will continue to fail. Listen to the usual nònsēnsical trāsh reporting often minimizing the gravity of the atrocities at play.

    "FACELESS BANDITS?"

What is the meaning of "faceless?" What is the meaning of "bandits?"

A band of heavily-armed Ansaru Islamist Group on special dirt bikes stormed a school that is in session, in broad daylight, abducted more than 700 pupils and teachers, in a planned operation that took more than six hours to execute, and safely marched their victims off through the streets into the forest. And they are described as "faceless bandits?" Chaii!! Nigeria 😭!!

  18. When police has been converted to meigaurds of the rich in the expanding Nigerian kakistocracy, what do we expect?
    Are vigilantes police? Ptcheeeewwwwwww
    Come here dey speak grammar!

  19. Journalism today appears to be in odd straits. I don't understand why a man will say stuff and no one in that studio countered him with objective facts. They just swallowed his subjective narrative hook, line and sinker. Wake up
