My friend is from Zimbabwe and I remember she made some beef stew and brought it for lunch. She let me try it and it was so delicious! I just had a random craving for it and am so happy to find this video. I can not wait to try this recipe!

Bicarbonate soda for okra is a tenderiser. Same as you use it in muboora/mutikiti/ibhobola. Nice cooking. Can you do mugayiwa?

💕💕 I am now home sick……… thank you sister!
Thanks so much for this recipe for the beef stew and okra. It turned out so lovely with dovi and sadza. I used a curry blend instead of hot madras, but it was still perfect. I made it for Father’s Day for my Father. He said it took him back to his youth 😀. Great job on the recipes. I look forward to trying more. Much love ❤️
Well done, sis. Loved the tip on using fresh tomatoes and first frying the beef before simmering it. I used to cook the grey beef in my bachelor days😆🤭
Eish, this made me hungry and nostalgic at the same time.
do you use palm oil here?
Can you please share a oxtail soup recipe? I cooked this stew so many times, it’s absolutely delicious. Thank you
