A young American moved to Ghana to run a laundromat

I will be honest, whenever I meet a young person in their early 20s move to Ghana or Africa, my respect and admiration is another level. It’s because I’ve always had the perception that it’s a thing for the old; or maybe I’ve underestimated the younger generation.

In this video, I speak to…

  1. Wow! Am watching from London uk 🇬🇧 this morning, and so so impressed with this beautiful young lady ❤️, launderette is very good even more than laundry because you can wash everything nicely and take it home the same day, instead of laundry 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉

  2. Very refreshing interview. This standout from the other silly things we see some young people are doing on social media & in some realty TV. Very inspiring for parents and kids.
I will buy their books, pay for their services if I was in Kumasi. I should share this to my Ghanaian friends.

  3. She keeps on saying we we , which is okay I feel the interviewer could have asked who is ‘we’ ? The title says she moved alone , did she move alone or with family?😮

  4. Kudos to you young lady. I love your energies to be here , if you work very hard , the sky is not only limit but your beginning . Am very sure you will do well. Welcome home❤

  5. This video has changed my mind, i have a big store in ACCRA, Gbawe, and i think i can use it as a laundry mart. Thank you so much for sharing. I will call them foe advice

  6. Very Good Video, Mickey! The Cokers are My Family and I enjoyed being in Ghana for 2 years and being close to Them. Thanks for showing all of the beautiful scenes in Kumasi and Adako Jachie! 💙🤎

  7. Is it not this same people who allow some people to build on someone’s land saying that if you fail to build a house on a property and another person is able to, all that you deserve is to acquire a new land? So why this mess? Nkwaseasem wo Ghana paaa.

  8. it's really stupid to me when a Africa person asking Question like why! you move to Ghana! you people are so stupid to ask a question like that to a black people! if you don't understand English try to! be on your own and stop stupid Question from our own brother's and sisters coming to Africa!

  9. OK did I miss something why are they not actually showing the laundromat business? Like how it works, looks where is the technology? How do they wash the clothes what are they bring to the community. Or is this just another hole in the wall type operation they call a business.

  11. interviewer You failed on this interview – you know why, cos all we saw was talking and didnt showcase anypart of their business – would have like to see them as they taking orders or delivering

  12. How is that a 23 year old can look so sure of herself, calm and grounded. Notice how she says she is already learning Twi – she is in it for the long term. Attitude is really everything. Pretty impressed. I also like how she did not want to dwell in details of any prior harrassment as it seems to me just reliving past trauma.
