Well its just using existing technology and just adding one more fold. Is nothing breakthrough.
I hope it folds like a Z where the top is a outward screen like a normal phone then the 2 other panels fold face to face. So the from/top hinge screen wraps around the edge and the inner fold is like the current folding phones effectively merging the extra outside screen and making it bigger unfolded.

i would 1000% replace my fold 3 (which is still pristine but the phone is pretty narrow when folded closed) with a tri-fold phone that unfolded into a tablet like an ipad or a samsung tab s9.
I'll probably wait until the next company makes one, so that it's less than 2800$ us. too pricey for what it is. if it were 1800 i'd buy it for sure – it could easily be thicker than the huawei mate xt and people would buy it.

what happened to the marques that was super pro tech? you turning into a boomer there marques?? evolution of the phone form factor is a good thing, or we'll just get years of apple phones with zero new features. apple would charge more for the same features year over year if they could get away with it. competition is GOOD.
and can't imagine how a phone folds? take a piece of paper and fold it, what are we talking about? just because one folded side would have two contacted sides of plastic, or plastic touching glass, is no issue.

Reviewing it without actually seeing the phone, that's rich😮. Huawei phones are amazing, we love them here in Africa. Their features and specifications are top shelf. Not to mention, durability and battery life.
And they released it! This is what folding phones should've been. A normal sized phone that can be transformed into a regular sized tablet.
