  1. Let me correct you. The Lozi came from the Lunda Empire, which was to West of the Luba Empire. It was not a kingdom, but an empire because it had many powerful subordinate kingdoms

  2. My late grand mother told me she was originally a Lozi and she spoke Sotho. Are the Lozi the same pple as the Rozvi? Or our history has been tempered with on text books.

  3. Wow I was given a surname in my dream and was told that esamandulo sakabomama and when I googled it I found that it's from the Lozi clan. I know nothing about them but I feel so connected. Thank you for this at least I got to learn something ngyabonga bhuti I love your content.

  4. A very good program , but the Lozi people are originally Sotho people from south Africa , who came to the Zambezi with king Sebetwani a classmate of king Moshweshwe of Lesotho . They got mixed with the luyi from Angola . Sebetwani conquered the luyi taking them into his kingdom. But after his death the Luyi took over the kingdom.

  5. The Lozi- Rotse are from South Africa. Specifically the Southern Sotho Sebetswane Sebetoane. Hence their language is like Sotho-Pedi-Tswana
