  1. Not disciplining Black Children and holding them accountable for their own learning is more harmful than closing this department. I'm tired of the soft bigotry of low expectations!!!

  2. Public K-12 education is funded primarily by property taxes. Black neighborhoods are generally less wealthy than white neighborhoods, the homes are generally cheaper and less property tax is paid. The Department of Education subsidized low income school districts. There will be more black students without lunches etc. If this channel wants a return to JIM CROW it will get its wish soon with the help of Phil and his diabolical work against African Americans.

  3. I wish this woman would stop lying!!!!! Dept of Education provided grants and loans for black students. One of the reasons the black middle class expanded and we have black people in all areas of employment is because the Department of Education helped with the cost of attending college.

  4. No it didn't hurt us as black people because we know what we have to do is take the lead and give our children a real education not theirs spend time get to know your children hands on this is just a kink we will overcome don't let them stop you on your journey 😅😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊

  5. So explain the alternative for parents to DOE? Explain how single black mothers are going to get the funding for the schools, pay the teachers, school lunch programs, etc?
Everybody cant do homeschooling. Homeschooling is a not a fit for all kids.

  6. It may. Block grants to states have the potential to disastrous for our communities, especially if funds are diverted from schools that serve us in favor of other schools.
